Institution for Savings Set to Open New Rowley Office October 1st; Announces Management Staff
The Institution for Savings will open its 5th full-service banking office at 312 Haverhill Street (at the site of the former McIntyre's restaurant) in Rowley on October 1st. The team will be led by (left to right) Vice President of Residential Lending and Rowley resident Larry Hunter. Executive Vice President and COO Mike Jones, Assistant Manager April Shonkwiler, President and CEO Mark Welch, and Manager Joshua Tuff. A grand opening Fall Festival is set for Saturday, October 13th from 10 am to 2 pm, and the public is invited to attend.
Joshua Tuff and April Shonkwiler will manage the Institution for Savings' newest full-service banking office in Rowley when it opens on Monday, October 1, announced Institution for Savings President and CEO Mark Welch today.
Tuff, who is also a Rowley resident, is currently the Assistant Manager at the Institution for Savings' 2 Depot Square, Ipswich office, a position he held since November of 2002. He holds a BA in Fine Art from the Montserrat College of Art and is a graduate of Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School.
Shonkwiler, who will serve as the Assistant Manager, currently holds the same position at the Institution for Savings 68 Storey Avenue, Newburyport office. She joined the bank in August of 2006 from TD Banknorth in Groveland, where she was the Customer Sales and Service Manager. Previously, she was employed by Family Bank in Groveland and by Firstar-US Bank Corporation in Ohio.
The new two-story bank is located at 312 Haverhill Street, on the site of the former McIntyre's Restaurant near the intersection of Routes 1 and 133. Designed and built by Royal Design, the office features a sprawling open-concept lobby, as well as offices for commercial and residential lenders, and 1820 Investment Services, the bank's financial services division. The second floor has additional office space as well as a large, glass-walled meeting room that looks out onto the banking floor below. There is a drive-up banking window, a 24-Hour drive-thru ATM and a night depository for after-hours deposits.
